After creating our group's shooting schedule, we sent an e-mail to book the needed equipment. This help ensure that we would have all the equipment needed on the dates we want. Sending one e-mail with all of our dates also ensured that we do not forget to book equipment later on.

Storyboard
This is
the story board we came up with for our opening sequence.this shows our
basic line of what happens in the opening sequence. we did this to
ensure we knew what we was doing when we had to film our oping
sequence. Doing this made us think about what ideas where suitable for
the storyline. this also made us see that why some of the ideas the
group member came up with will not work.

Class feedback
The audience thought that our sound used at the end of the opening sequence, a child singing voice, was used well. They also pointed out that there was a sound placed in the wrong place, and this was fixed when we improved our animation.
The audience thought that the camera shots were unclear and hard to understand. Their favourite shot was the close up of the girl's face. They also thought that we did not have a good variation; we used many close ups.
The audience thought that the pace was too slow for the running scene. They thought we should make the transitions quicker. They thought that the titles between the knife and the crow should either be expanded or shortened.
The audience did not understand the scene of the running man with the cross over of the clock and why it was repeated several times. The audience clearly understood that the opening sequence was a dream. they likes the ending, especially the title and sound - child singing.

Survey analysis
Our answers where divided equally between the two answers. This shows us that the opinions are divided. However if half of the responses are negative, this also means that they would not mind relating to characters - they simply do not need it. Therefore by default, we should have a relatable character.

Issues raised during the making of the production logo
When we were making our production logo
we decided to firstly speak to each other listen to all the kinds of idea’s
everyone had and what they thought was essential to add, change or remove that
would make our production logo better.
When
we were editing the Image of the crow on the adobe one of my team member
(mogan) thought of an idea of masking the crow’s eyes red however we all came
to a decision that we should not do this as it will have a good colour contract
with the white background we had planned to use.
After
we had edited our image we decided to play around with the image and see what
could be done to make the image better. However we all came to a decision that
our initial image that we had created in the start was the right image to use
as other edits did not make it seem any better.
We
all had a n initial idea of having the background black however due to the black
crow we was using it was impossible to use black background as the crows would
blend and the crows will not be viable. This
lead to us being unsure of what colour background to make the background therefore
we kept it transparent. We also try to
see if we could change the colour of the black crow but it was obvious if we
changed the crows colour to any other colour it would be mistaken for other
birds and it would not be clear that it is a crow.
When
we put everything on premier pro then we added affects and emotions to make the
crow fly a cross. We added various sound affects in to make our production logo
more affective. Finally we changed the background to grey and cloudy image. This
small touch made out production logo unique, stand out and an outstanding final
piece.

Survey
we had made an survey to do research and find out more about what the audience like about the genure horror. This was done to ensure our opening sequence was affective and had all the elements the overall audience like as well as expect in an standard horror movie. We chose to make few of the question specific in order for the information to be helpful for us. we based some of the question on types of characters the audience like and this was done to help us analyse the characters and find out what makes them exciting and what people like abut them. this information would help us make our main character better.

Class feedback
the feedback we had received from the class helped us improve our story line and the characters further. after the feed back we had we decided to make changes such as the name of the main character to a much more feminine and this way more was reflected about the character in her name. we has decided to change the initial idea of 'kai' to' fai' as we thought 'fai' sounded much more like a female name.
from the feedback we had also realised that that our inital story was abit confusing therefore we had decided to change some of the lines to ensure it fitted the production title and our genre we had chosen.we also decided to add more characters into the story to make it much more interesting and as the feedback suggested that we should as it would create tension.
some questions that were asked by the members of the class made us think more about our story line and the feed back helped us improve it to make it more interesting.
we did not make any change to the production title as everyone thought it was a good selection of name and also 'nightmare' fitted into our genre (horror). therefore we did not make any changes regarding the title.
the questions 'how did the main character die's?' and 'who killed her' came up a lot therefore we made sure it was interesting and different in order to surprise the audience with what actually happens. this creates tension and makes the audience want to go on and watch the rest of the movie.
